Based on my experience, ideas are like sleep. The more you chase them, the less you get.
If you're like me, your best ideas likely come to you when you least expect them. For me, it's in the gym, while walking, showering, or, and these are the worst, in bed while trying to sleep.
All of these activities have one thing in common:
They're automated.
We do them without much thought. If you have a daily walk in the same neighborhood (i.e., in the gym, to and from work, walking your dog, etc.) chances are you're doing it on autopilot which usually gives your brain the freedom to roam and explore without constraints.
It is precisely during these moments that you are most likely to encounter your best ideas.
Btw, I recently did a video that goes over how I effortlessly capture these fleeting thoughts. Feel free to watch it here!
But, there are exceptions, and that is if you're lucky enough to have a group of people to brainstorm with. And, even in that case, it's challenging to build the ideal environment that fosters group creative thinking.

💪Hevy - After having used Strong for years, I've moved on to Hevy. The sync feature on the Apple Watch is fantastic, and Hevy is continuously being updated, unlike Strong, which appears to have been abandoned for quite some time. It's also cheaper, but the free version is good enough for me. I highly recommend giving it a try.
🎶 Song - I cannot stop listening to this after attending my first Indian wedding just last week, which was extraordinary. Because of the wedding itself, the song has a great deal of sentimental value, which (assuming you weren't present) you might not identify with! Judging by the ridiculous number of views, I’m sure Indian readers have heard this one before.
🛩️ Flighty - I can't believe I wasn't aware of this app before. I was watching Apple's WWDC last month and noticed Craig, the SVP of Software Engineering (you might recognize him from his funny stance), using Flighty on his phone to demonstrate its widget. I traveled using it last week, and I must say it was nice to get real-time updates on delays/baggage belt etc. I've been using the free version, which seems good enough for an occasional traveler like myself!
Thanks for reading :)
